Being 7 foot and able to move like a point guard is a pretty good skill if you ask me.

There’s probably 2 people with that skill in the world.

And yet, he did nothing down the stretch with all that skill and talent.

Was Giannis screaming and demanding to guard Durant down the stretch? I didn’t see it. Defensive POY, and he stood and watched Durant go off on a much smaller Tucker and take this game.

Your original take is a little too far, but agree with the premise. He is extremely talented just has a completely different skill set of a normal scorer in the nba. He won’t have the same scoring skill set of KD, but not many people ever will. In regards to a killer instinct- this is same thing said about KD for first 5-6 years of his career. Couldn’t win the big game or close down stretch.

Poor team building and coaching in Milwaukee- hardly in a spot to make him successful. As someone mentioned earlier imagine CP3 running that team with a giannis pick and roll. Hard to believe the perfect compliment for him is a pick and pop 3/D guy in Middleton.

So how much did you lose on this game. As much as your complaining.

Giannis choked last night for sure. Great player, but it’s the same story every time with them, I’m just not sure what their strategy is to close out games other than iso and drive.

They need a PG and a coach this off-season to really compete, even at half strength the Nets are winning games.

That’s more natural athletic ability. Skill is creating open space for a shot, crossing over the defender, finding open teammates off screens, and etc. These are the skills KD, Kyrie, and Durant have. That’s why they’ll win the series.

Haven’t watched Milwaukee much this season but was surprised to see Holiday/Middleton as focal points down the stretch. Seems like Giannis is kind of a headcase down the stretch in the playoffs.

Milwaukee's offense in the 4th was horrible. It was just isolation. No ball movement and nobody taking advantage of mismatches and Giannis is afraid to go to the line at the end of games. I think Milwaukee will win the next one though but Nets will prevail in 7.
