I just checked the email we received from them, and it said. "You will be able to access and transfer tickets closer to the end of summer. We appreciate your support." So it sounds like e-tickets later in the summer.

I have a text from Rachel that says that I’ll get the group mobile tickets in “August.” But, I will say, I have been corresponding with her since February and quite a few things she has told me have not exactly happened as she said they were going to. So who knows? I have 96 tickets to distribute so having some time to do that before September 18 would be helpful.

Are you in the 207 section area? I have 48 there.

I was thinking the same thing in regards to getting them distributed early. Scratching my head in regards to having ours purchased so early and no tickets, whereas people that have gotten them the last few days and already have them electronically.

Yes, Section 207 and most of rows 8-13. We also have some in 206. On the UNLV website I can see I have 96 tickets and it says on each ticket that “typically they are available 48 hours prior to the event.” I asked Rachel about that and she said “August.” She also said she would put together and send me “best way to transfer” instructions. The UNLV site says $2.50 charge per transfer but Rachel said that doesn’t apply to group tickets.

College sports is all about the money, if they can sell more seats, they will do that. No way they are leaving a huge source of revenue on the table.
Even more so when it’s the only game on their home schedule that’s going to draw any significant numbers

GD Southwest airlines, we had booked a nonstop flight out of KC for Vegas on the 17th at 7:40, AM. tonight we get an email saying that they have changed our flight, leave around the same time, but fly to Denver and then Bozeman and get into Vegas at 12:40. I tried to call SW, waiting on the phone, and we get another email saying that they have now moved us to a 6:30 AM direct flight that gets us there at 7:30 AM.

This is turning into one hell of an adventure and its still 2 months away.

while not nearly as dramatic as your change, my flight out of CO Springs changed a bit tonight too.

We are fine with the second change, we were pissed about the first one. I guess I have a hard time understanding how an airline can move you from a direct flight to one with two stops without throwing in a little extra for the switch. If we keep our current flight we will be fine.

If you're ever really bored you should grab a bottle of wine and read a contract of carriage sometime. It just says they'll promise to get you from point a to point b in any way they see fit and actually maybe they don't want to anymore and you can go pound sand.

Southwest in particular is one of the worst in the world and used to or still does claim that mechanical failures are acts of God.
