If this move happens, that move would put the SEC at 16 with Texas and Oklahoma

That means the Big Ten needs two, and then the ACC/B12/P12 have some shuffling depending upon who.

Initial thought:

Big Ten adds Kansas and Virginia
ACC adds Notre Dame, West Virginia, and one more. (That'd be the hope for ISU to still land P4)
Pac 12 adds four Big 12 schools (Tech, Bay, OSU, KSU probably -- maybe ISU over BU but probably not)

But I don't think the Pac 12 is going to allow that to happen without at least a pitch to Tex/Okla because they'd rather have Texas, Tech, Okla, OSU than the four I mentioned above.

The Big 12 will likely make a counter to Tex/Okla to raid at least the Arizona schools, Colorado and Utah, and maybe more from the P12. A P12/B12 lovechild could develop out of that too.

Doubt it happens but just for a moment pretend it did. West Virginia joins their natural rival in the ACC. ISU, Okie lite, and the Kansas school become half of the eastern division of the Pac 16 w/ Colorado, Utah and the Arizona. Could be worse.

Likely see a rebirth of the SWC less Texa$$ and the Mason jar lovers.

The Pac 12 didn't want Tech and Okie St last time. And Baylor in the same league as Stanford/UCLA? Never going to happen. Better chance that BYU joins the league, and that isn't going to happen.

I don't think it's out of the question the remaining Big 12 schools would merge with the Pac-12. What other choice would they have?
There’s just too many schools to just drop off in the Big 12.

There is only one benefit to doing this…money. as mentioned, Texas would get lost in the SEC much like Missouri has. OU would win a championship once in a blue moon.

Maybe Texas A&M is p*ssed and would like to return to get away from them. Mizzou should ask West Virginia if they'd be interested in a swap. Add Colorado State. Add BYU (football only). We don't need to be playing our games on the freaking west coast.

I miss the A&M fans. Great fans and good people.
