KU fan on another board suggested that OU and Texas are trying to get SEC money, but stay in the Big 12. As a fan of Iowa State would you sign up for unequal revenue sharing if it meant keeping the conference together?

For now, yes. Once Campbell leaves, then no.

Bc if this happens and Disney decides who are the halves and have nots and 30 programs, universities, cities etc are left out to draw then you better believe this will go straight to SCOTUS. It is alraedy borderline Anti Trust issue already.
Politicians might care, but I doubt SCOTUS does. Cities don't have a recourse to sue if they don't have an NFL, MLB or NBA franchise.

Emmert was quoted last week that the NCAA's days might be numbered. Why would it be a legal issue if the SEC, Big 10 and their media partners create a conference or maybe more appropriately a league of 30-40 teams?

That doesn't prohibit the other P5 and G5 programs of proposing its own league to media organizations.

Sounds like aTm is going to kick and scream on the floor and hold their breath over this. Whether that does any good, who knows? Gentlemen's agreements aren't worth the paper they aren't written on.

Former Texas A&M official: Texas, Oklahoma joining SEC would break 'gentlemen's agreement' among league schools

No team is leaving the SEC for obvious reasons. But with how much A&M hates UT, them leaving the SEC over inviting Texas doesn't seem THAT far-fetched.

Doesn't the SEC kind of hold all the cards? They are the one with the sexiest names in the sport.
I think things could shift quicker than SEC seems to think. If the rest of the nation let the south be the south and didn't give their eyeballs, even if they're the only teams in the CFP, at some point things would have to swing back to balance.
