You are finding out that the world is tough. Texas is not the devil all the members of the B12 said they were. Neb lied, Aggy lied and we equalized in 2011. Its an Urban myth that Texas is some bully that treats its partners bad. I love ISU and hope they land in the B1g but hating on Texas got you here today. Its over. Cyclones.
Really? Because your school is doing a terrible job showing that

ISU is last in donor contributions.
Maybe that will all change, once we start winning. We have been one of the worst programs in college football. Even our basketball program has had some serious dips! Winning gets people motivated. Look at KSU, they seemingly found cash and they can’t be better financially. Unless there is something I don’t know - entirely possible.

Do we have any kind of Fan Fest or Kid's Fest next month? Lots of schools are coming back to these events after a year of Covid - to drum up fervor, donations, and loyalty.
I don't see anything scheduled on cyclones.com.

If not now in terms of stepping up number and amount of donations, then when, I guess? Football team just finished in the Top 10, won the Fiesta Bowl and is a legitimate contender going into next year.

If people want to be in the B1G and compete with those schools, now would be a good time to prove it.

People also need to be comfortable with the idea that their donation won't get them much. Because that's not supposed to be the point.

As of 2019: (Baylor and TCU not included)

There are about 400 posts i haven't read yet, but the more I think about it the more I feel like ESPN, SEC, UT and OU were taking a gamble on getting out of the Big 12 for something less than what is owed by the GOR. They probably figured with the NIL, expanded CFP and talk of leaving the NCAA behind they could afford to pay the entire amount to get OU/UT out early if necessary. But their goal is certainly for the rest of the league to fall apart and end up with no/little money owed.

I say we stick together to force those ******* to pay every penny. As long as we're making our money, whether it's paid by FOX or ESPN or OU/UT or whoever, that's priority 1. That allows us to stay on schedule with debt repayment, coaching salaries, etc. It buys us time that we need to work with potential new conferences. In the meantime, we need to market ourselves by winning football and as many other sports as possible, and traveling, buying tickets, buying merchandise, etc.

I feel like we've shown our potential as an AD the last few years. Now we need to show that it's sustainable and the other leagues will take notice.

The entire Longhorn fanbase is Matt Damon's LaBeouf from True Grit. Wants to be the big hero with the fancy boots, shiny spurs and big white hat. Ends up a comic device despite what is spent on the costume. **** the Longhorns and **** @Roosterman

Texas isn't a savior, it's a ******* cancer. If you want recognition, win the conference more than once a decade. God damned sheep ******* goat roper ********. Take that big drum and shove it up your ass sideways.

Good question. Apparently the last two realignment scares did work. Let’s hope the third with FB success make the difference.
