Book your uber early. Not sure if it's still the case, but there has been a shortage of drivers and taxis
There are 2 huge music festivals there that weekend too AND a huge boxing match. Going to be hard to find any Uber or taxis anywhere.

Leave at noon on Wednesday and "Leaving Las Vegas" at noon on Tuesday. DSM airport parking is going to be at a premium.

Departing DSM Wed evening. Staying at Tropicana. Returning Monday afternoon. Wanted to watch NFL at a Vegas sportsbook on Sunday.

Not 100% what you are looking for in a Sportsbook/how much you’d like to spend - but they get full/busy.

If you want to have a guaranteed seat… take a look at this. This is for Caesars… I’m sure you could shop around for other options. I’d just suggest that you pay to reserve a seat - if you are wanting to sit, watch, and gamble a little.

Thanks. Didn't expect it to be so pricey. Cheapest seat is $161! Good to know.

Raider games will now require vaccination proof. Has to roll down to UNLV home games as well, right?

It's either that or wear a mask according to Nevada rules at the moment (for indoor events over 4,000 people). UNVL says they're looking into it. (sources: this message board)

Wife is currently in Vegas and she said the Raiders will require proof of vax (as reported here) or you can get your 1st shot at the game and wear a mask.

We are staying at the Mirage, at the North end of the strip, and will be using the $8/24hr bus pass to ride "the Deuce" to Mandalay Bay. Apparently it's a double-decker bus that runs up and down the strip all day and comes by every half hour. Should take only about 40 minutes to get from our hotel to the stadium, but I'm sure we'll be waiting a long time to board a bus afterwards.

Another option would be to walk to Bellagio and take the tram from there to Park MGM…then walk to Excalibur and take their tram to Mandalay Bay.

You’re joking right?

Ive never rented a car in Vegas. Usually a lot of walking, riding the trams, and/or getting that bus pass. But when I say walking, we would just walk to the next casino for a little bit and repeat. Although Uber has been more relevant the last few times, but we’d still only use it maybe once a trip.
