Texas A&M fans are apparently just as arrogant as Texas fans:

Texas A&M is more of a cult than a university. They do weird things with mason jars.

Michigan State harbored a child rapist and covered for him for years.

If I had any association with either school, I'd try to hide it.

It's the Texas A&M Saber incident. The last time their Corp leader held an actual saber on the sideline because he wielded it at SMUs male cheerleaders for running on the field and doing a celebration after SMU scored on them. May be more to it, but that's the gist.

Edit, found the recap of the incident:

Late in the second quarter of the Oct. 31 game, following an SMU touchdown that made the score 12-0 en route to a 27-7 victory, SMU's male cheerleaders ran onto the astroturf at Kyle Field to spell out 'SMU' with their bodies. A&M tradition prohibits visiting cheerleaders from going onto the playing surface.

Hood, the officer of the day and responsible for the general behavior of the Aggie student body, rushed onto the field after the SMU cheerleaders, brandished his saber and thrust it threatenly at one of them. Another cheerleader knocked Hood down and Texas A&M security officers and one Aggie football player stopped the scuffle.

He got suspended for a semester haha

This is like the ass hole who yells at kids for taking a sip of their Big Gulp before topping it off again.

Mother ****** takes a sword out and still gets his ass kicked by the cheerleaders

I predict this guy will work for ESPN someday. Classic blueblood knob polisher and too lazy to do any meaningful research.

LOL - I don't think a team that finished in the Top 10 last year and returned more than any other team in the country should be preseason Top 10.

I really have no idea, but do people writing these sort of things actually make a living doing it? Like with food and utility type money and everything? Because most are so incredibly terrible at it.

I'm good with the yell leaders. Strange but still kind of unique.

Every once in a while doing something unique occurs in the form of something useful, creative and artistic.

A vast majority of the time something is unique because it's so ******* stupid and useless that no one with an ounce of pride or mental capacity would ever do it.

This yell leader thing is ******* stupid and creepy as hell.

Hope this guy thinks Oregon should be unranked and Oklahoma should be ranked about 23rd.

Otherwise he's never watched college football.

“I don’t think Iowa State had done nearly enough to deserve a top 10 ranking entering the season.”

Lol going 8-1 in conference, barely losing the b12 championship game, destroying Oregon in fiesta bowl, and bringing back entire roster. Makes sense we should def be a fringe top 25 team because recruiting rankings.

Yeah but but but last year doesn't count because things.

Seriously, if we don't live up to our top 10 preseason ranking, so be it. But to say we didn't deserve it coming in to the year is just mindless stupidity by meat heads.

I don't even understand how you start doing this. Like I get cheerleading and all of that. However, at what point do you start coming up with all these little stupid movements and all of that. It's just so strange.
They basically invented Tik Tok.

Ok. watch this video if you want to see the strangest thing ever

I'm trying to imagine how it possible to grow up and be a recent high school grad anywhere in the United States in the year 2021...see that as a young college freshman...and not run as fast as possible away from that in any other direction.

I mean what 18 year old sees that and thinks "Yeah, this is where I want to be and what I want to be doing with my life". It blows my mind they get 40k human beings to sign up for that, it'd blow my mind that one person signs up.

I find it funny how the article says its "tradition" that prohibits others from going on to the field. And also alluding that the "officer of the day" is responsible for upholding the previously said "tradition."
