the one thing about premium that i enjoy is not having threads like this go off the rails.
you can actually have good dialogue in those threads.

I might be in the minority here but I'd rather just pay 4 or 5 bucks a month to support what is currently the "free site". If this page needed the money I wouldn't have an issue keeping it going.
Simple injuries as " premium content" seems ridiculous to me, not to mention a couple threads on here I've seen start out as free then all of a sudden are "premium". To each their own I guess.

Of course. Yeah I'm not sure what to make of the TE game plan against UNI. I would like to see a little more of Chase Allen. But I think it might also just mean how good Kolar might really be.
I wouldn't want to see us completely go away from the free board. Considering the forum and community was how CF became a monster in the first place.
CF has had Patreon and forum upgrade subs for a while now. Chris started up the premium board because he wanted to give something tangible back to the people who were giving money.
I think if you do the Patreon option you don't have to sign up for the forum upgrade, if you want a more no-frills "donation" type of support.
Yeah, I almost pulled the trigger on the T2 patreon. But the Price seemed a little steep, for now.
I'm sure CF has thought of what you suggested. They are probably doing what
they need to do.
If Iowa State wants to be able to claim that they have one of, or even the best, TE units in the country, they can't continue to get "no-hit" by the opposing team when one of them, albeit the best of the bunch, is sidelined.
