So Gameday is doing a piece on Dan Gable which is great....If they don't do a piece on Jack Trice then they have no business coming back to Ames again.

Gameday 2nd time in Ames and will they do a piece on Jack Trice?

As has been said, they did a piece on Trice last year. They don't need to do a piece on him every year. As meaningful as Trice is to this program, this program is more than just Jack Trice.

Lame.

Where are the "ESPN sucks", the "E-$EC-PN", the "KF doesn't like hoodies", etc, etc signs??
I'm angry as much as anyone, but one thing I was taught as a child is to ask "what good does it do?". Nothing good would come of acting childish on national TV. So, I'm quite proud we're taking the high road.

Ya he was great in his prime, but that ended after his stroke. Its kinda sad to see really.

I'm glad he's still on. I think most people that watch Gameday realize he had a stroke a few years and that's why he stumbles every now and then.... I have absolutely zero problem with it.

What are they going to do.... show him the door and replace him with who?? Nobody else would be near as good as him.

I was told that the media portrayal of the remaining 8 isn't that important in the eyes of administrators and now I'm hearing Lee Corso say that social media affects how long a coach stays at a program. The two don't mesh.

I agree it's sad to see, but it's not like he's on the set for most of the segments anymore, either. Really seems to be more for the open, a segment here and there, and the picks at the end of the show.

There's a reality that as fans we have to play into it and try to help ratings.

If there's a game of interest I'm going to keep watching games on ESPN. Gonna guess if I were to boycott it wouldn't matter.

LA LA Land
We're going to have at least 4 NBA players at the game. Every NBA fan knows THT, Tyrese and Monte. Tyrese was a legit rookie of the year candidates, Monte has played a boatload of playoff minutes and carried a team to playoff wins, THT is a walking highlight real.

I can tell you living in LA that THT would get more interest from NBA fans than Ashton Kutcher. I bet I've worked with more directors lately in my job than he has. THT is more relevant as a celebrity being a core part of the LA Lakers.

Agree, boycotting doesn’t help iowa state or the big 12 at all. We need all big 12 fans to do the opposite

It's not like ESPN just started being evil this summer, and it's not like college football has been some symbol of integrity in forever.

I hate the over consumption in our society, but there I am, online shopping.
