Glad I was listening from the pool and didn't invest much in this debacle. Its disappointing to have everything for a truly special season in front of them and come out essentially 0-2. The O is truly awful. It doesn't feel like we have a senior QB that has played several years in the same system, or a Heisman candidate RB. For that, some coaching ass needs kicked, not that the players don't deserve a healthy share of blame. The team couldn't have flamed out at a worse time on a bigger stage. About to end up in a league that may not really stay P5, heavy expectations for greatness, at least this year, and laying a total crapper out there, at home, for all to see.
Ok, so there's my catharsis, now on to have a wonderful Saturday watching other teams play fun football.
Hope you all do the same. Brock doesn't feel bad for you so go enjoy your day, do not be a **** to your kids or your wife. Drink a beer, cook a steak, whatever it is you do. They'll be back next week, maybe better, maybe not.
At least I won150 betting Iowa!
