For many of us this was the year after decades of disappointment. It is sad to see them beat themselves when they are probably the much better team....
Sorry, kind of tired of this. Part of being a good team is not turning it over and being prepared to compete in September. Iowa has been better in both aspects for five out five years so it isn’t some fluke. They are better period. Will ISU be a better team in October? Maybe. But right now Iowa is simply better, and they will be as long as we play them in September until our staff figures how to fix being a clown show in September.

Our WR's are the weakest WR's at the point of attack on the ball I've ever seen.

Lazard and Butler do not let that 50/50 ball get picked off...ever.

Scates will fall down when the wind blows..

reality check just set in for Brock Purdy and the WR's... Now it is time to move on and get in a rythym for UNLV game...

I wouldn't be concerned if this was just a bad game, but this is a well established trend at this point. CMC teams have been bad the first month of the season every season. We should be over that by now. We have 20 returning starters on what on paper may be the best team in school history and we have looked like ass on our home field two weeks in a row. That is not acceptable.

This. If a Campbell team was ever going to come out firing in September, this one should have been automatic.

Today that was true.
Sure, Kene and Soehner are gone, but where did the Fiesta Bowl offensive team go?

Id like to know this as well. Evidently losing those two guys makes us have to start back at square one on the playbook.

This is going to be the maddening thing about Iowa the rest of the way. Any team with a pulse that plays clean is going to have a shot to beat them. And the law of averages probably says one or two will.

Yep, their offense was abysmal today, anyone who can score is going to be trouble for them. Too bad our offense is such a mess right now.

Was the game 40-3 or something?

It was 10 points. Bad turnovers. A flush game. Much worse has happened.

Lots still can.

Wow.

It was over in the middle of the 3rd quarter if we are being honest with ourselves. That’s when I stopped really engaging and just scrolling through here.
