I think the big difference is Clifford has proven he can make those plays and clearly their backup couldn't hit the broad side of the field of dreams.
I didn't watch the end of the game, but the part I watched the receivers for PSU were dropping several catchable balls. They were not perfect throws, but it they had Kolar instead of Stonehands the game could have turned out differently.

I don't know who said this but they were probably the same that said 'Why doesn't ISU play like that more often!?' after the UNLV and KU games.

Two of the legit worst teams in the country.
Just pointing out the complete 180 in comparing the post game analysis of the two games. A month ago everyone was humbled and admitted Iowa was better, now they have thier biggest win since 1985 and they are a total fraud.

It was a three point win, and you don't think having their starter would have at least garnered them another FG or at least flipped the field with some decent drives? Their backup QB was absolutely terrible.
They lost their best D lineman on the first series of the game I believe. If not the first play.

I think both things are true. Iowa was better than us when we played, they are better today, but they are still a fraud as a top 3 team in the country. But with their schedule from here on out they may not be exposed until the post season.
So who exactly in the Top 10 cant they compete with besides Georgia or Alabama? Those two teams are a class above the rest. They could stack up with any of the other teams in the Top 10. They jsut took down #4 ffs.

If Ohio State wins out, I think they could compete with those 2. Not sure they would win, but they still have enough talent to make it interesting.

The only way that happens is if Stroud makes some huge improvements. He isnt anywhere close to the level Fields was playing at last year.. I'm not convinced they get past Michigan, Penn St and Michigan St.

Given the choice between watching b1g football and having red hot pokers shoved into my eyes, …….. I’ll get back to you.

Its a tough schedule, but they're still loaded across the board. It will be interesting to see if they can win out.
