Listening to Flowrestling Radio Live today and CP mentioned Suriano is planning to enroll/compete second semester and mentioned that Iowa State is being considered along with Penn State, Ohio State, and Nebraska. Anyone got some insight as to how legit that is and what the connection there is if so? No getting my hopes up by any means, but that'd be a lot of NCAA points to add to the lineup.

Mineo says PSU and he's pretty clued in on the Jersey boy scene.

I think the assumption all around is Penn State, was just the first time I'd heard Iowa State's name thrown around in the Suriano rumor mill. Didn't know if there was anything too it.

Team race is a hell of a lot more interesting if he goes to PSU.

Agree. He's not a huge bonus point guy but would definitely shore up their 125, RH didn't quite blow the doors off the way I think many of them thought he would.

isnt RH out for most of the year after an injury shortly after nationals? Feel like I read that somewhere but might have been someone else

Howard is doing a redshirt this year (medical) so in 2022-23 he’ll still be a RFr
He could improve and be ready by then time will tell. If not they’ll just grab another bluechip like they always do

I'd be extremely, extremely excited if Nick Suriano ends up in Ames. I just don't see him being anywhere other than Penn State...

I fully agree with both of those thoughts. Would love it but don't see it happening because PSU would challenge Iowa for the title with him in the lineup..and two, our don't trust our staff to land someone like him..

Listening to the podcast sounds like PSU is still the leader but I wouldn’t say ISU has zero chance. He was confirmed in Ames over the weekend and there is more to it also so yah never know.

Suriano was not happy with the way Cael handled his injury his freshman year and then supposedly left because he never meshed well with the team. What makes everyone think that will all get swept under the rug? I don’t see him going back to PSU. Plus, I’m sure he is looking for a place to train after college and I don’t see him in the same room as Gilman. Having Colon in the room and the $ we can offer post grad may be enough to entice him. Not expecting it but it wouldn’t surprise me either.

PSU is going to offer him the moon to be their 125. Book it.
