And he's fast with the ball up court. I predict several impressive end-to-ends from him this season.Brockington hits the glass HARD for his size.
He's really good.
Seems like when I saw him play for Minnesota, I always thought he was a bit overated, a good shooter but kind of a one trick pony, he just hovered around the 3pt line and waited to shoot 3's but you can tell he put in a lot of work on attacking and creating. If he can continue to score in the variety of ways we've seen so far, he's going to have a huge year. He's a much more complete player than the guy I remember playing for the Gophs.
Yes, this is a great role for Jackson. People get a little too caught up in what a guy isn’t. He isn’t explosive and isn’t great off the dribble, which makes him an undersized SG, but a guy that can hit shots and give great bench mins on both ends of the court. Not to mention, by most accounts he seems like a great culture guy. Some coaches find a way to unlock what a player can do.
Like I'm glad Jackson stayed because it looks like his abilities are highlighted.
I will take Brockington
I like this aspect. They play like a team. There isn't one guy trying to play hero ball.
TJ gets it. He’s maximized and identified this team’s identity. With improved shooting and little bit of better decision making, I think that’s the next step. If Enanura makes a big step, we’ve officially made the “middle of the pack” in conference. Conditt will never be a more than 10pts or more scorer. Jones is great energy. Jones reminds me of Joakim Noah version. Grill is an absolutely awesome 6th man. Tre actually played in this environment before coming to ISU which is why he’s playing better. We’ll definitely have bumps along the way, but I’m sold in this staff.
I'd go with Brockington, but I think it will be a different guy each night where you think they're the best player.

Caught myself saying last night that Tre has an "old man, YMCA game"... nothing fancy or very athletic but gets the job done in a sneaky-solid way.Yes, this is a great role for Jackson. We only have 2 bigs…. and neither one can seem to figure out how to play without fouling. That’s my main concern with this team right now.
I will say, our forward made a huge improvement from the first game. I want to see Conditt learn to play major minutes without fouling out. He’s made big strides in his overall game.I think it's only a matter of time before our 4s start combining for 15 a night, Our guards are Big XII worthy.
I won’t confuse Conditt with Cato, but darned if he didn’t make me think of Cato last night the way he ran the floor, dunked and swatted shots from weak side help.
