Oddly it was the type of shot that usually misses vs. catching the ball in rhythm.
To me that game was beautiful.

Ugly as all hell, but they overcame it with sheer force of will and effort.
That's how all of the teams in their league start the season, on the road. It pays their bills to a certain extent. Grambling State will be here next and they don't get a home game till after us.
Most of them. Quite a few good looks that just wouldn't fall. Make just 2 or 3 more and we're breathing a lot easier down the stretch.
Most were pretty bad misses, but they were open shots that I think this team will make a decent percentage of eventually
Shooting was bad all around. Lost track of how many bunny shots were bricked. A couple of flat out air ball bunny shots. One of those nights? Maybe, but Alabama seemed to be altering a lot of shots, and blocked few as well. Good job on getting the win, but I didn't like how ASU ,at times, looked like the team with better players. That concerns me a little going forward.

I think I've already had more enjoyment out of this team than I expected for the whole season. I know as we get further into the season there will be nights when we come up short, but this has been a great start to the season. I think Jamie made a good hire!

It was bad, and the one we make, Kunc had all day. Took a dribble, ate a clone clone, did some homework, and then shot it.

Most likely, we're just not a good shooting team at all. That's fine. We look like a gritty team that plays D and gets good shots. We'll make enough to have a nice season.
Yeah, that's probably an automatic loss last year, now at least we can survive bad games like that.

That’s been a big positive with this team. They are tough defensively and I am surprised how good they’ve been.
