How hard is it to run a 7 yard route when you need 7 yards?
At least that was 5 yards short instead of 2, we're laerning to avoid the 2 yard short pass.
Dekkers leads ISU on a TD drive. So of course pull him for a 3 and out Purdy series.

It's because Purdy does not alter his timing of the snaps. Dekkers actually did. They are beating our OL by timing the snap.
Pretty hard when the defense is in the backfield before the snap even gets into Purdy’s hands.
CMC will not hear the end of that question. Purdy's bell was rung, and Dekkers had momentum.
How hard is it to give a quarterback more than 2 seconds to even read down his progressions?
Taking Dekkers out might have been the stupidest thing we've done all day.
