Careful. I get crucified whenever I admit the truth about this disaster of a season.

I mean how can people even dispute it? I'm tired of the 6 wins is a good season no matter what crap. You return literally everyone from the best team in school history, and then crap the bed with losses to Tech and West Virginia. A lot of it is on the coaching staff.

no doubt about that being what the staff thinks and they could very be right - the one thing I'll give Dekkers ie Hall's catch is he extended the play and gave him a chance to make an exceptional catch. Was it a great throw? Probably not. But he kept his eyes down field and put it close enough to Breece who was reasonably well covered.

While I don't doubt Brock is better suited I just IDK.... you get a little momentum there. not much perhaps but a little bit after not really having much all day....not to mention the health piece. With an offensive line acting like open flood gates at high tide - IDK. I'm not saying sacrifice Dekkers to the wolves but putting a guy back in with a possible concussion or whatever can be dicey and at this point.... health matters more than anything. We end up losing with Dekkers.... fine. We lose with Purdy...fine.

I just want us to be healthy

What did he do to extend the play? That was a throw that was only caught by a super play by an all American

Dumbest take ever. Every play has progressions and the 3 yard is never the first read. NO offensive coordinator calls a 3 yard route, it's just what the quarterback reads as the best option.
This is correct, yet it’s always the option Purdy chooses. So either Purdy isn’t going through his reads or the play calling is always awful because the other options are never thrown too.

I love this team. I love these players. I'm so disappointed for them, because they have put so much work into everything and this is not the season they should be going out with. But they are still a great team with one of the greatest runs in Iowa State history, and I appreciate the hell out of them for that.

Of course I'm disappointed. I know they are too, no matter what they say. But that doesn't mean I love them any less.

After the Baylor game I said this team would go 6-6. Got a lot of crap for saying that. Seems like I was right on the nose

These people crucifying me for saying this season is a joke are the same people that probably thought Prohm deserved more time because he’s a “good guy”.

Good god. Did you all just see that throw? He never should have come back in this game.

BS, this is a good team. If we had some playcalling the score would be up. Instead we are stuck with up the middle plays that don't work and passing underneath the sticks, instead of playing to our strengths, TEs downfield and Breese around the end.

D can't play the whole game.
watch the oline instead of the ball sometime. our oline isn’t getting the job done this year. doesn’t really matter what is being called when you can’t control the line of scrimmage
