This will be a great test. I’m not expecting a win, but if we shoot the ball and play defense like we did against Xavier, a win is possible (although the probability is low).

With the Memphis length I think we will need to make a few extra points off turnovers and tempo to equal their advantage. We will definitely be the underdog in this one.

We'll probably have to rebound better than we have to this point, and we'll have to make some perimeter shots, as many shots at the rim will come back with their length. Most importantly, we need to play our defense and make them impatient as they will take bad shots, and we need to be resilient, as they will have some big runs and big dunks. We have the ability to get this one if we play our game.

I love reading all these posts about us having to rebound better. This team already rebounds better than ANY team we've had in the last 3 yrs and plays more whole game defense than since the Eustachy days.

Hell, I don't know if we are going to win or not but if we do the hype train will be at full speed. I'm in on this team for the season they try in every game. Glad I kept my season tickets.

I expect it to be a struggle for us to be consistent on offense. We'll probably have a few cold spells. Our D will need to continue to be tough, and we have to make them pay when they get impatient and try to hero ball it. Specifically we can't get killed by second and third chance points, that's really the only weakness our D still needs to tighten up. And that's mostly solved if Conditt stays out of foul trouble.
Regardless of the results, I know this team will fight and represent us well. 5 games in and I'm invested is this team. It's nice to have that feeling again. Win or lose we can be proud of this team, and that's all we can ask for as fans.

This is probably where our streak ends but if we can keep Memphis from getting settled in early then we might have a shot here. I trust our guys will keep playing hard and keep us in it until the end either way though.
