That was a defensive beat down. This was a great day to be a CYCLONE!!!
People use the word literally wrong all the time, but I feel safe in saying you literally could not have expected a better start to the season. Wow. I can't stop smiling right now.
If Jaz and Tristan step up like they have, I suddenly have more confidence in our front court. Even then, a little defensive pressure keeps the ball front he interior, so that covers a lot of ills.
It's a guards game and we have 3 elite guards. The frontcourt is serviceable. Conditt looks extremely improved, Enaruna seems to be gaining confidence and Kunc seems to do alot of little things crucial to winning basktball games.

I can’t wait to see how these guys do on the road next Saturday at Creighton. With the defense they play, they are built to win on the road. Should be interesting.
The turnaround from last year is unbelievable.
Even if they would be missing buckets and turning it over more, I’d still love it. Because they’re playing hard and as a team. Something we haven’t seen in a couple years.

I’ve liked every post the last 4 pages. Sorry, but I’m glad I noticed your post. I don’t disagree, so I won’t dumb it, but come on man, this is like free pizza and complaining that one of them doesn’t have pineapple on it.
That was just a flat out a$$ kicking by the Cyclones: they held Memphis to 38% shooting, rebounded them by 7, got to the free throw line 10 more times and forced 22 turnovers. Still need to clean up some things offensively. But this brand of basketball travels well, will keep them
