Not exactly sure.
The small play that really showed the heart of this team to me was near the end when Tyrese busts tail to knock a pass out of bounds under the Hawkeye basket. We were up big, we were going to win, but this team is NOT going to quit giving effort. I will take losses with effort, you can stand behind fighters, we haven’t had that for a few years.

said exactly this at the time to my BIL as we sat at Shakespeare's in IC and basked in the Herk-eye disappointment that surrounded us...

Brockington has to be our best dunker since Deonte Burton. He puts it away with authority.

Also digging the minutes Robert Jones adds. He seems to work hard enough that it doesn't feel like a downgrade when he comes in. Plus when he does something good you can yell out "BOBBY!" which is fun.

Will Jones be able to improve free throw form? Seems like a liability late in games, those tonight were not even close.

I do like his physical presence around the rim on both ends.

can i just saw how hilarious it was for the announcers to keep saying "and this is the nation's leading scorer" every time he threw up an absolute brick?

I've actually watched a few of their games this year. Our defense was a level he hasn't faced yet, even UVA that's known for that slogging defense.

He's a smooth player who glides to the basket and to rebounds using his length and position rather than explosiveness. Tonight ISU, Brockington specifically, was just literally faster to every spot than him and he couldn't function at his usual speed.

Fran is 5-7 against ISU even with that 4-0 run that included 3 of ISU's worst teams in the modern era.

Some of these guys act like Fran has dominated everybody. I don't know what planet they are living on.

He's 5-7 against ISU, exactly .500 in regular season Big Ten and 6-10 in the B10 tourney.

Sounds like another Barta extension coming for him.

He's literally exactly middle of the road as a big ten coach...but hasn't had the breakthrough B10 tourney run or a sweet 16 that a lot of long time .500 Big Ten coaches would have in over a decade of chances.
