One.........you need to get professional help with your obsession with Prohm and two.......if it's not the transfer market, must be Fred then, right? Because if Prohm fooled people with those players.........so did Fred. Don't think so......look at his college results without them.
Obsession? lol. If this is your rebuttal, your contention is clearly nonsensical. Btw, a poor coach like Prohm rebuilding and putting a great roster together for 2018-19 largely disproves this nonsense you have posted , and is relevant and rational to the discussion. Fred put those 2015-2017 core players together and developed them- otherwise known as coaching. LMAO.

Just stop with this continued ******** of "everything has changed". That mindless drivel has been repeated by the herd here for 6 years.

No, Fred has changed. Frankly, he that was underway by 2015. Add in the NU factor too. Different coach, different program, different players. It is just that much easier to win at ISU. That's why his successors have built teams here in much of the same way. That is why 4 out of 5 coaches before him at ISU each have more tournament wins than all NU coaches combined.

Points allowed? Lol. You know the world has moved on to possession based metrics now, right?
And scoring margin has never been a measure of defense played. You do know how that is calculated?
Nebraska was with 5th in defensive rebounding. You do know total rebounds includes offensive rebounds?
A/TO? Is this a bot? That is like a third order measure of defense.
Try again. But much harder.

Is this one of the twins?

He is 134-206 over the last 6 years and change as a head coach at his dream jobs. He's not a good coach.....good coaches don't suck like that.

Not sure if he has an ego that could handle it but perhaps an assistant gig of advising on mismatches and out of bounds plays etc. is a better fit.

I will be hated for this, but it’s fine: won’t be the first time.

fred is intentionally tanking Nebraska basketball and using those chumps for their money. Good for him. Huck the fuskers.

Hoiberg never recruited here or at Nebraska like he did at the beginning of his Iowa State time...and I'm not talking what they were supposed to be, I'm talking what they were.

To that end, none of his **** works without three point snipers. His last two three point shooters as a head coach over 40 percent? Georges Niang and Dustin Hogue, with Georges at 40% and Dustin at a cool 43%.

You gotta get buckets for a Hoiberg offense. Buckets haven't been got since he was here for a team he's coached.

To that end, anyone feel like the first year under TJ (God knows it's only nine games in, but still) was what McDermott was advertised and supposed to be in Ames? A team that plays its balls off and has been the tougher team in every game?

Not exactly sure.
Fred is putting up some historical numbers at Nebraska.
- Fred is currently 19-51.
- You need to go back to WW2 times to find a coach with a worse 2 year win total than Fred.
- Grandpa Hoiberg (Bush) had a few stinkers in his 9 year career at Nebby in the 50's. His overall record was 85-132.
- In all of history, Nebraska basketball is 1532-1416.
Nebraska actually has a winning record? Take the hoibergs out and it jumps up?

I don't remember McD's UNI teams being like that though. Had some decent players and the specialty was beating Iowa.

I just remember him saying at his opening press conference that he was looking forward to beating Iowa some more and having a weird feeling about it.

Oh, I think they were like that at UNI.

They play like a more athletic uni team from Jacobson’s first 5 years at uni.

He made 3 straight ncaa tournaments at uni. If you want to remember what that was like, watch the first half of the creighton game. They played southern illinois, and first one to 40 won the game.

and Iowa State coaches know that there is a segment of the fanbase that will never be happy unless we beat Iowa. It’s still always the caveat with Campbell
