I keep seeing people say this like the dismissal is ridiculous. But the predicted winds are no joke for busses and kids who walk home.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I read that more as a commentary on how bizarre this is, not whether it was the right thing to do. Though it's already supposed to be plenty windy by the time schools are letting out, isn't it?
