Update from Nebraska. That wind is very cold now.

30 degree forecasted drop tomorrow from today.

I think its worth noting that chronic sleep deprivation like that is correlated with a whole list of different health issues (particularly cardiovascular) beyond just being tired. Its not 100% guaranteed to happen obviously, but something to keep an eye on.

My daughter is coming home from college at U of South Carolina and is due to land at DSM from Atlanta at 10:30. I’m nervous. Plane due to take off in 15 minutes and as of now they plan to fly. Unfortunately I’m in NY for work and don’t have a feel for what’s going on there other than this thread. Appreciate the updates.

My Dad is on same flight. Surprised they are flying considering the wind gusts expected around the time they land.

Winds picked back up a little but storms are gone.

Most flights are delayed or cancelled. Hers appears to be one of two that hasn't been affected yet
