Purdy is the greatest QB in ISU history. He owns every QB record there is.

I'd say you're the loser.

Put Sam Richardson in the same place, the same record breaking result. The wins are because of the defense year in year out. Go back and look at the close loses, one thing in common, terrible offense and Purdy turnovers.

Would have won the game with Breese unless dumb **** Manning wouldn’t have given him the ball

It wouldn’t have mattered. Would’ve burned half the clock staring the sidelines then having to throw up a prayer like WVU brainless clock management.

Two bone headed mistakes by Purdy cost us the game. But another poor offensive game plan didn’t help either. Defense did enough.

You can respect what Purdy has done while also acknowledging he’s held us back this year. He just has.

Yep. Holds all the records. But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: OUR RECORDS WERE TRASH.

Dekkers should have taken over after the Iowa game. I know Campbell is loyal to his guys, but I feel like he was blinded by it this year for some reason.

Take away our offensive player of the year, our defensive player of the year, our outstanding safety, an OL starter (which forces us to go with a makeshift Oline), and an excellent receiver (Milton), and then end up losing to Clemson by only 7. Proud of our guys.
….and don’t forget, losing to the team out east isn’t a big deal either.

Moral victories rock.

Really sucks that is how the last play of a great career ends at ISU for Purdy.
I can't think of a more representative way for Purdy to finish his career.

The highs were highs...

But consistency and eliminating the extremely low lows are what the program needs to stabilize.
