I almost feel like Purdy should have opted out, this game has to have hurt his draft stock/NFL hopes, if there were any.

Honest question: Do we think he would have been drafted? I could see him going in a later round (5th or beyond) but either way I think he made the right decision to play.

East of Neptune, IA.
Defense w/o Rose played great. Freyler and the D-line played tough. Eisworth didn't have his head in the game. O-line was patched up. Play calling sucked. And most importantly, Purdy was not on in this one.
Give a lot of credit to X in trying to give it a go.

Unfortunate way to lose. Respect Purdy for not sitting out. Seneca Wallace was probably the most electric ISU player, Steele Jantz had the best three games, but I think Purdy is the all-time best QB in ISU history.
Purdy holds the records but for me, Seneca is #1. If Seneca had been a 4 year starter... WOW. and that's not a shot at Purdy just saying.

Worst Clemson team in 7 years. Best ISU senior class of all time by a mile. Clemson down both coordinators. Still lost. Try again.

Our best players on both sides didn’t play. Tell me you don’t think they make a difference in this one.

Maybe not drafted, but the QB draft class this year is ridiculously thin, so there’s somewhat of a chance.

Agree - Hall and Rose were incredibly selfish.
no. they gave everything they had and it was their right to make the best interest for them. are any of us going to help them out if they got hurt in the game? it sucks to lose, its one thing to be critical for dumb plays or something but calling these kids selfish IMO is out of bounds

You have to be an insane NFL team to draft him. I am really afraid he may use his eligibility to stay.
