We need to look at Bama's route trees - they are simple, quick and effective.

Ours are slow developing and not effective.

Agree. I hate tOSU with a passion, but they would have made this a much better game, assuming all their WRs would have played.

Honestly, this is one of the more competitive semi-final games; especially versus Bama.

Think OSU would have had a similar result to last years shootout. Their defense and offensive line are not great this year. Michigan would match up very well against bama but don’t think they will beat Georgia.

I guess Cinci is hanging in there a lot better than Georgia did.

Weird how Alabama's O-line absolutely dumpsters Cincinnati's d line on runs, but struggles on pass protection.

You won't find too many teams with worse route trees than ours. Thank goodness for all the good contested catch guys we've had the last 5 years. Nothing makes guys less athletic and get less separation than being a stationary target and not using all of the field.

There is a reason why our separation isn't much different whether it be UNI or Clemson.

But numerous times in this game the Bama players have shown they pay attention to the scout and do what they are coached to do (all the batted balls because they were coached to watch for the quick throws and that last 4th down play were the blitzing safety knew to play the run pass option). That to me is really impressive.

I mean, we don't hate them because they're bad, lol. There's a reason they always play in the CFP, and it isn't just the recruits. That only gets you so far, as Texas can attest.
