I don't know why they are questioning that other than trying to generate controversy where none existed and they really don't know how terrible an OC BF is. Ball at mid field with less than three minutes left, you have a very good punter. You already failed at 3rd and 1 and earlier, 4th and one when they could have kicked a field goal and the Iowa offense was very inconsistent. That was the right call. But Kentucky was helped when the punt went into the end zone for a touchback when it seemed Iowa was very slow in covering a punt that could have been down inside the five. The Iowa secondary got burned on the final drive for the winning score.

When Herbie talks about "all the energy" on the Utah sideline...isn't he suggesting this game means more to Utah than Ohio State because he hasn't pointed out any "energy" on the OSU sideline? Yeah...I am reading a bit into his comments but if that is what he is insinuating...then the Rose Bowl has become one of the "other" bowl games! Go Utes!!

Hawks should have won, but the Iowa offense had a couple of terrible possessions in the fourth. Went for it in fourth instead of kicking and didn't get the snap right. Once again BF loses it for the Hawks. I think the Iowa loss bodes well for Iowa State heading into that game at Kinnick.

Players for Ohio State opting out already proved this theory. Imagine being a college player and The Rose Bowl of all games isn't even worth it.

For OSU playing in the rose bowl is a let down. Everyone of their NFL guys opted out which is the right call but Utah has a lot more to play for.

Wrong. We have split the last four meetings in Iowa City. Iowa's loss changes the complexion for their off season and heading into the fall camp as far as I am concerned.
