So much B1G fan-ness here.

This is like when Bucky fan at work tells me 2015 CFP and Rose Bowl blow outs were just poor performances.
Not defending their performance but they have a ton of guys opting out. 5 defensive starters and their top two wideouts and best Oline. Those guys already have their NFL spots locked up while Utah’s guys have a lot to prove.

Olave and Wilson both chickened out and rhey are both 1st round picks.

It's obvious Utah has much more interest in being in this game, probably one of the biggest events in their state history.
It’s not chickening out it’s securing first round draft status and generational wealth. If they were later round picks or had more to prove they would be playing.

Because it's usually a prime time game but you have the playoffs last night, Sugar tonight in its normal slot and NFL games Sunday. The NFL games tomorrow threw off the normal schedule.
Then flex it to Thursday or Tuesday. That game should be stand alone.

Ok utah has zero guys to my knowledge opting out and if you told them before the season they would be in the rose bowl they would be ecstatic where as OSU would view it as a failure.
Again - which OSU players have said that the Rose Bowl is a failure? Yes they've had opt outs - but have tons and tons of talented players on the field right now.
CJ Stroud doesn't want to win as much as Utah does?
Give me a break.

Lol, yeah, we get the whole opting out stuff, doesn't mean they still aren't chicken****. It's one thing to sitout the Cheese Bowl, but for anyone who's been alive in this country for any length of the time, the Rose Bowl is one of the premier sporting events in the country.

great, I guess ISU beat Clemson by your rational

Our best offensive and defensive players in school history were out vs full strength Clemson and we lost by a score, who do we see about getting win credit?

You seriously don't understand this do you? All the proof is right there with the different motivation levels by Ohio State players not playing. It needs no more explanation than that.

This is such a bush league take on guys opting out. You should be ecstatic when someone opts out for the bowl game becuase that means they have a top 2 round draft spot locked up which is awesome for the program. Hall opting out is no different and CMC will be able to point to him and Montgomery as RB’s he put in the NFL and that’s a massive recruiting tool. No other top program in the country cares when guys opt out because it shows the program is producing NFL talent.

Wrong. We have split the last four meetings in Iowa City. Iowa's loss changes the complexion for their off season and heading into the fall camp as far as I am concerned.

We've scored a total of 35 points in Iowa City the last 4 games there. A total of 6 points the last 2 games there. We are losing record breaking weapons on offense as well.

We've lost 6 in a row in the series.

Iowa's loss today won't change either coach's approach to the CyHawk game.

Hey Iowa fans...HAHAHAHA. How does it feel that your QB threw a pick to lose you the game?

Iowa fans railed on Purdy over and over on twitter after his TO..

LMFAO....Iowa offense is so bad.
