OMG, horrible defensive breakdown, but credit to TTU coaching staff on drawing up a good inbound play.

Seeing the meltdown in this thread reminds me of why I avoided this site during football games....

Guys... we're 12-1 and our only loss is to the number one team. We've scored 11 points in the second half, and we're still in this.
Again here we go. It's possible to be both. We ALL understand where we are, especially after last year. But this game can still be absolutely awful to look at. We are at home and need to protect it against a team that has only 7 players.

People can point out how abysmal the offense is. It's ok.

The Kool-Aid drinketh when at the same time there were some real issues in the last several wins.

It's kind of remarkable they have a lead.

They were missing, on average, 41 of 78 points from players out tonight.

I think our players and the officials at times were overly aware of this.

It's impossible to know what full strength teams would have resulted in tonight.

Tech has played 40x harder in the second half and ISU came out like dog**** in the second half. If both teams are at full strength Tech looks more dangerous in the first half and ISU is probably more focused throughout. We even had minutes of defensive lapses that were masked by their bad ft shooting.

Those 7 players have proven to play very well though.

TT is the real deal IMO. If they had their full roster tonight it wouldn’t have been pretty….. although I also don’t think it was easy for our guys to get up to play a depleted team either.

Yeah I think they'll be very tough this year. Next year and the year after is the test going forward.
