Just letting y'all know, given the Davis news, it is very clear that there is a key piece (or two) that plans on staying (Rose/Vance) or coming in (Colby Reeder). Both Horne and Davis wouldn't leave a place they know they could start at the next season.

Also sounding like Will McD is coming back too.

The last three or four games Young was playing 2/3 of the snaps. He didn't like that and is moving on.

Maybe. IMO, Young wanted to be closer to his young son. We will see where he ends up. Young was gracious in his announcement to leave. He represented the Cyclones well and was a great player. I have no hard feelings. Young needs to do what is in his best interests.

Good luck Isheem.

I suggest our performance two years ago would of been around 8-4 if a normal season. Covid year affected teams differently. More disciplined programs like ISU handled things better than others. Also, many have said we had a lot of favorable things happen during games two years ago compared to this year. I enjoyed that season, but deep down never thought we were a top 10 team [normal year]. Top 15-20 for sure. PLEASE beat me up kindly! ;)

In honesty, then this year should be thought of in the same way. Or, I guess any year there was a rules change. NIL, transfer portal, and the Covid year have affected teams and sports this year. COVID is still affecting players at all levels.

Right, I mean if he's getting beaten out at Iowa State going to Georgia seems like a head-scratcher

If both leave I will donate $50 to a charity of your choice. If neither leave you donate $50 to Blank childrens hospital. If one leaves and the other stays, we each donate $25 to our charity of choice. Sound good?

I didn’t clarify my charity of choice. I’d like a donation to First Tee of Iowa.

I hope Coach Campbell is aggressive with any top prospects in the transfer portal. I am not impressed so far. We should target the Alabama TE that just entered the portal - Billingsley.
We've had what 5 transfers? I liked the juco OT we signed. We can be selective.

the LB from Delware Colby Reeder was a big win in my opinion. Him and Vance with Gerry Vaughn shore up LB.
