People who think the officials are good because we stopped driving are morons. Do you ever think that them not calling fouls is part of why we are no longer able to get to the basket.

It’s obvious to everyone watching but when we continuously settle for long jump shots or 3s, we suck offensively. Drive the ball!

But why we git no fouls by duh refs?

If disagree, what would you call it? I'm not saying it is NIL, duh. I'm saying it, the officiating, is one-sided, and seems to be favoring the home teams. Also seems to be favoring lopsided fouling, aggressive play by TT and other teams.

As I type this Conditt picks up a phantom 5th foul. A little push maybe, but after all this other stuff uncalled. Come on. It's crazy when officiating can dictate a game(s).

Call it dumb @isuno1fan if you want. I guess we need to get more physical also.

Refs have sucked, but Tech has outplayed us big time in the 2nd half.

This isn't just bad reffing, but also our bigs are bad, and ISU's guards can't drive the basket without the ball being stolen. Which is in itself a function of both Tech's defense and our guards not being nearly good enough at dribbling. Handles are weak.

Trying to claim the guards can't drive isn't partially due to the foul disparity and not calling from if movement calls on one side and calling the pushoff on kunc early set the tone is not a smart take.

Our offense is so limited and our bigs commit stupid, unnecessary fouls half the time. If George and Jaz played smart tonight, they'd have 5 fouls combined, not 9 or whatever they have.

Agreed. This is the first team in over a decade with good defense we should not be living and dying by the 3.

Unfortunately we are very dependent on how the refs let us play. If they let us play how we did the first half were good, if they call how they’re calling now this is how our team will look. Our defense runs this team. If we’re not allowed to play for our strengths we have no shot. Unless we have one of our random lights out shooting night
