Iowa State without Joens sisters for matchup against Texas
Adversity has struck several times this season when it comes to injuries for Iowa State women's basketball, but perhaps the biggest blow of the season comes just before a top-15
With Ashley out this would be a great game for Aubrey to find her rebounding game that she seemed to forget to bring to Big 12 play...oh wait...Her, Ashley is the only wing forward on the roster. Guessing they'll play more with 2 posts in hopes of not getting brutalized on the boards.
Immunity?....?I hope they are ok. Will be nice to have immunity for the remainder of the season (Again, hoping for them to be ok with this first and foremost)
They'll be back as long as they don't come down with Covid or have another close contact. It's only a matter of time if they aren't vaxed.I guess that makes more sense. I couldn't figure out how just two of them were out, but Chris could say with confidence everyone would be back by Baylor. Makes sense now.
To avoid caving this thing I'll just stop there...
Diew plays basically the same role - I don't really consider her a "post".Her, Ashley is the only wing forward on the roster. Guessing they'll play more with 2 posts in hopes of not getting brutalized on the boards.
JFC. They would be playing tonight if they were vaccinated.
cyfan92 probably posted that assuming the sisters had a covid infection. Once you've had COVID, I think you get a 90-day window where you never have to quarantine. But since this is a close contact quarantine and not an active infection, it isn't the case after all.Immunity?....?
The world's on fire with Covid right now. Even if they don't come down with it how can they possibly avoid others who have it.So this could easily happen more times this year then right?

Even if they decided to become vaccinated now, they wouldn't be fully vaccinated for five weeks*. That's practically the rest of the regular season.Yup.
Please make sure we talk only about this situation without grandstanding on either side of the COVID debate. There have already been posts deleted (rightfully so) and we don't want this informational thread to be caved.
