There have been rumors about this type of trade for a couple of months. The 76er's have been floating this rumor praying that the idiots in SAC will take Simmons off their hands.

I wonder how Fox is handling TH's taking some of his spotlight?

His assist #s are way up lately, you’d think anybody would want to play with him (not to mention he’s the happiest guy on earth) but not always the case.

Up to 12th in NBA in assists but probably higher than that in the past month. 11th in steals right now.

Pacers would be great for him IMO.

Not sure why any team would want to give much of value for Ben Simmons at this point. He's made it perfectly clear he would sit out this whole season and pay all the fines if he has to which raises the question on just how committed he is to the game. He's not a star player, probably a nice piece off the bench for a contender or a solid mid-tier type guy who can't shoot 3's. If J. Grant from Detroit isn't enough for Philly not sure how much better they think can get for a headcase.

I have never seen the Simmons magic, especially from the fact that he is not clutch nor a closer. Why pay him superstar money if he shrinks in the spotlight? Also, he sucks from 3 and chokes at the free throw line.

The whole team and staff needs a reset.

Being the oldest team in the NBA substantially and just trying to limp in to the playoffs is grounds to burn it down. But they are carrying some truly awful contracts and don’t have picks either.

I didn't want this to get lost in an NBA thread:
https://www.phillyvoice.com/sixers-...yrese-haliburton-deaaron-fox-analysis-latest/

Sacramento is now reportedly open to making De’Aaron Fox and/or Tyrese Haliburton available in the right deals, and those aren’t equal propositions for Philadelphia. In all likelihood, sources say, a deal involving Fox would almost certainly have to be a three-team deal, moving Fox to another party in order to get what the Sixers think they need. And while the Sixers like Haliburton and feel good about his potential fit, the sense is he’s not at the level they’re after for a primary piece in return for Simmons, that the Iowa State product would need to be one part in a more extravagant return.
I don’t get this. Tyrese for Simmons straight up would be a huge win for the Sixers. They should have to throw in to get Hali.
