Maybe You should understand ms janny that with only 4 seconds left in the first half ...YOU CAN ONLY RUN ..."ONE PLAY"...Which of course imho SHOULD HAVE BEEN A FIELD GOAL AND THEN THE CHEFS ER CHIEFS WOULD HAVE WON THIS GAME!!
Again, you should actually figure out what you are talking about, because you clearly have no idea what actually happened. There were 5 seconds left on the clock, not 4. And that's enough time for a quick hitter to the end zone, which is what the play call was. Executed correctly, there would still be time for a FG. The throw occurred with 3 seconds left on the clock. If it would have been to the end zone, there would have been time for a FG attempt had it been incomplete. But instead of doing that, Mahomes decided to throw to the flat, short of the goal line, and they got nothing. That was on Mahomes, not Reid.

For crying out loud, this isn't that difficult. You are wrong. Go rewatch it. There was enough time for another play had Mahomes gone to the end zone

I think majority of fault goes to Mahomes for the last play of the first half. One read and throw it away if it isn't there to allow for the FG. But, I also don't think it's as easy as saying they win if they get the FG there. Still have the entire second half to play and it changes up the strategy by both teams. Too much time left to say that was the difference in the game.

Difference in the game was the offense completely going into their shell in the second half. I'm sure the Bengals defense made adjustments but Mahomes was off, missing wide open guys that would have gotten easy yards.

The Chiefs have had a pretty dang good 4 year stretch. Tough to take this loss but man it has been a fun ride lately. Could have Tyler Thigpen starting or Todd Haley coaching again.

Stupid in that situation but I have to think he thinks Hill is one on one on that play and wins that 99% of the time. If you watch Apple on the play he comes in from way across the field to make the play.

I'm really confused why they charged the Chiefs with the first time out (almost always in a challenge in that situation its returned). Not sure if that would have mattered or not.

Sorry man, as a neutral fan it's time to see some new teams. You guys are turning into the Patriots where I'm already apathetic toward watching you in the AFC championship.
Please…
Reid/PM/Chiefs are nowhere near patriots status.
1 SB victory is the same as the Buccaneers, Denver, Seahawks, Philly etc in the last 10 yrs.

I acknowledge they have been in the conference title game for four straight years; yet they have only won 1 SB and been to 2.

They are no patriots

More like Philly with Reid. Mostly close with no cigar. Got one at least KC, be happy

Can I get a translator? I'm afraid I don't speak this particular dialect of "meth-head octogenarian" or whatever affliction you have going on.

Are you asking why Mahomes didn't run two plays? The answer is simple. He ****** up and threw the ball into the flat. If everything would have played out the exact same way, except he threw it to the end zone, there's enough time left for one more play. Go back and watch the play again, if you don't believe me. Pay close attention to the clock.

I guess I cannot see why all the hate for the Chiefs, yes, we blow it in a game we should have won, but it's not like the chiefs have dominated the league for the last 10 to 15 years like Brady and the Pats.

I guess misery loves company for all the Packer, Viking and Bears fans out there, but we will be back, so get over it.

Did Bengals Heacock Mahome in the 2nd half? He had time, but no one open, and by the looks of him not scrambling thought they may have had a spy on him.

That was a masterful adjustment from Bengals D as Mahomes couldn't have had much of a better first half aside from the last play.

Probably but there is no guarantee of that. It wouldn't be shocking at all if you look back in 10 years and you end up asking yourself how did that team only win 1 Super Bowl? Especially in the NFL where seasons can easily be wiped out by injuries. Up 21-3 at home vs. that Cincy team you have to close that game out.
