Help me out here. I'm beyond a newbie to wrestling.

We are currently #5 in the country. But how far apart are we from Cale's team? Are we close to Iowa? It seems like difference between #2 and #3 is gigantic. Versus there being minimal difference between #3 and #10? Please discuss

I have a hard time getting excited for a sport I know LITTLE TO NOTHING about. If we are closer to winning Big 12 titles and NCAA titles. I could see myself getting on the boat

The Big 12, we could win this year if our guys wrestle to their seeds and we get bonus points from those we know can do it.

NCAA's, if we break into the Top 10, we're heading in the right direction. We just don't have the horses up and down the lineup to put a bunch of guys into All-American contention AND racking up bonus points along the way to get near the top.

With that said, our roster is getting better each and every year. Next year's team could be a lot of fun with the upperclassmen we will have plus the young talent redshirting/grayshirting.

UM is both. It's a salty lineup that'll be right there at B1Gs and Nattys.

would not call Parris a title contender. He may be a finalist contender, but no one is touching Gable this year

I did not mean to say I thought he would win. I guess I should have say final contender. If they get to the finals they've earned a ton of points. I was surprised though that PSU heavy beat Parris.
