Well, I see that you have chosen a side on this.
Which side are you talking about? Accurately defining terms of the labor dispute? Or the Bonds juicing side (which, come on, man, was obvious to anybody with eyes)?
My comment was more about the short-sighted stupidity of major league owners (and Manfred) than anything else. Read “Lords Of The Realm” by John Helyar sometime - it’s not even up to date with today’s owners, but man - baseball owners are a horrible bunch in general.
I love baseball, but it‘s getting harder and harder with all the stuff MLB has allowed to happen in recent years (pace of play is HORRIBLE, just watch a game from the 70s or even the 90s and compare it to today, it’s like today’s game is stuck in molasses - that shouldn’t be hard to fix if they simply enforce rules already in the book; taking over minor league baseball was dumb; the extra inning rules actually don’t bother me, but there’s better ways to speed up the game; the dominance of analytics and “three true outcomes” is ruining the sport).
