With the lack of offense on this team and poor production/inconsistent production from the shooting guard position, does anyone think Green will transfer to ISU to play in a higher conference and for his dad? We need a guy who can get buckets!

I hate speculating on players, but I have thought that this would make a lot of sense.

honestly I don’t think he’d be a good player here and would draw too much heat as the coach’s kid. Needs to finish out at UNI and have a good time in CF.

I wonder that too, but could be good off the ball. I don’t know if the fit is there and he plays a lot with the ball which might not occur here and would have to do more running off screens, etc.

I have said this team is limited and has one guy who you can count on to get us buckets. The rest of the guys just don’t have consistent offensive games. It sinks us all the time along with having no action in the post. We literally get no post touches or have a guy that demands them.

TJ is known as a recruiter and understands the limitations of this team and will try and fix that in year 2.

Watson, Lipsey, King, King and then more than likely another transfer or two.

The good thing is we at this moment don’t have to recruit an entire roster, might just be a couple guys here and there

We better overhaul the entire roster minus Hunter. Are you blind?
As much as I enjoyed the way the season started, having an old roster fall apart like this as the year goes on feels like we're right back to needing a complete overhaul. Hunter and a few minutes from Walker are all we got out of underclassmen today IIRC. Enaruna didn't get a minute.

I very much hope TJ is willing to commit to a more balanced approach building the team moving forward. As much as defense is important, I'm pretty convinced you need guys who can put it in the bucket above anything else. I don't really care if a player is individually weak on defense, you just need to get more skill on offense any way you can.

Seems like just yesterday I was laughing at the folks who picked us to finish last …

Thought to myself the same thing today. (Wonder if Beard will take back his statement and now claim he did vote us last afterall?)

Agree. I mean Bohannon isn't great on defense yet Fran knows he's his best shot if he gets hot to make up for any defensive deficiency.
It was absolutely painful to see Grill struggle so much today when he's often been our best 3 pt. shooter. He works his butt off on defense so I'm not going to bash the kid. Why he's better on the road than in Hilton is mind boggling.

It would, but didn't somebody already say he was going to test the draft or go play overseas or stay...wouldn't consider a transfer.
