Looks like I was wrong. It has been changed a bit from the 2007 version. All the letters are connected. The s on the end has a tail, and the word is italicized.

I'm guessing there are 100 other teams in the country with the same shirts using the same font

BUT - kinda wondering about that silver helmet with the black facemask we saw during helmet fitting (again)...

My thought with the helmet was that was just a test sample. Riddell probably sent a few out to a bunch of school to try out the new design and see how they feel. Its also a chance to see how the decals fit on the helmet. I highly doubt we go with grey.

I certainly wouldn't put any money on it, but a silver helmet, some new silver-ish threads & our school colors were silver & black like a thousand years ago... kinda makes me wonder...

Our transformation to the Iowa State Raiders is nearly complete:

Some of you need a hobby. I can't imagine caring about our coaches or players wearing black as much as some users here. Especially when it looks so clean
I like these black/white/monochrome shirts. They are pretty cool. Campbell is here therefore black is here to stay.

A pic of these new shirts does not mean there won't be C/G versions coming also. The Cyclone script is new.

Could we be seeing more script "Cyclones" in the future?

That 2007 turd had to be turned out by some admin assistant who always thought she was an undiscovered designer. Incredibly lame.
As far as the Cyclone script or cursive it only makes sense to include that more in things.

I prefer the Walden era font the best with the underline. Avoid the bright cardinal and gold we had with Walden on that logo. Something like this?

Edit: Use the Cyclones cursive logo 50/50 on the White helmets, along with the current I-State logo.

Love everything but the I-state logo on the back of the helmet. What’s on the shoulder caps?

I-St on back of helmet with 'Cyclones' was just an idea. It would have to be a bit smaller I think. Just threw it out there because I'm not sure AD would go for it without I-St on helmet. Perhaps prominant I-State on the helmet bumpers would be enough. Thx for the input.

Nothing on the sh. caps here. But might have to move the sh. numbers to the caps as I moved the shoulder stripes up a good deal (to make bigger and for two-color).

I have plenty of hobbies, and I still have time to care. The script on those shirts looks cheap and blah. I just wish our coaches would wear our school colors occasionally.

Transitioning from black to storm cloud gray due to all the TOE complaints? Looks like the one polo had a stormy looking gradient/pattern to it.

I don't think anyone outside JP gives a **** what Iowa thinks. As it should be.

I do get some enjoyment that it drives the typical Iowa fan nuts.

The script itself (as a wordmark) isn't trademarked. The word "Cyclones" is.

There are a few Cyclones teams out there, including the Cincinnati Cyclones, and Brooklyn Cyclones. I wonder how "Cyclones" is trademarked.
