OSU kid snapped enough times to keep the ref from calling stalling, but he didn't take one legitimate shot. Killed Carr's gas tank pushing the pace. Disappointing all around.

Man you are clueless. The guy was backing up the entire match and basically turtling/stone walling on the edge because it was obvious the referee wasn’t going to tag him from stalling.
He should have destroyed that loser.... even if he's not doing anything. Just stupid.
They need to add a push out and that will solve some of the issues
Seriously blame himself, I guess. Willets got away with stalling the entire match. Those type of guys is what makes wrestling so hard to watch and referees fricken reward it. That referee doesn’t belong at the NCAA tournament. Joke!

You could tell David was gassed from well taking every single one of those shots. Man I hope he can refocus and climb back to 3rd. A loss like that is brutal hopefully we all find out the type of wrestler we all believe Carr is. Can't win get the next best thing David. Need you the rest of the tourney.

Could the gas tank issue be because of the weight cut? Might have a better gas tank at 165 next year

I kinda agree. Individual national championships are awesome and can salvage a bad team tourney, especially for a team like ISU, which isn't contending for a team title. If Coleman and Bastida can get to AA, would still have something to feel good about, but that loss stings.
