Prohm is the only ISU coach in the last 15 years that didn’t play the game. And the results speak for themselves.

I know nothing, but I think you can safely go back at least another 25 years. I also look at some of the players that Prohm got and wonder who on the staff was maybe playing the game behind his back.

People think that mentioning these things is slinging mud, but in reality it's just knowing how high major college basketball recruiting works. I have literally zero problem with playing that game and to be clear, nothing I heard from that time period even made me blink. All pretty tame stuff and basically what you would expect. At least one player I heard about had like his friends set up in an apartment in town or whatever. I'm not gonna lose sleep or even think negatively about that.

Didn't his recruiting classes rank very high historically?
1 of them did. I don’t know the story behind Larry’s recruiting or Orr’s recruiting but every head coach since Tim Floyd at Iowa State has bent the rules in their favor except for Prohm.

Don't get me going on this. Female recruiting hosts should be banned. FB & MBB have non-coaches on staff and in the case of FB about 20 redshirting football players who can host recruits.

IMO female recruiting hosts is part of the dirty under-belly of college athletics. Similar to the Harvey Weinstein issue with Hollywood.

Why are you trying to take jobs away from women? Why do you hate women?

IDK I always thought Steve’s recruiting was good enough, he was just a bad coach.
When he hit he really hit, but when he missed they usually transferred after a year or maybe two of little to no production.

This. He needed a few role players. Or he needed Halliburton not to be quite as good as he was.

Fred when confronted with Matt A's alleged involvement in recruiting.

.. "I hope you have a friend like I did. To plunge their hands into the filth so you can keep yours clean"

This is crap. Everyone bends the rules. Nobody did anything every single other program didn't do. Total crap.

Don’t know why you’re attacking me but okay. I’m saying even ISU coaches bend the rules. Some of our fans want to think Fred was a Saint when he was here. He wasn’t.

Matt’s wife is a really nice person. I knew her earlier in life. She is an Iowa State grad. They have a couple kids together. I don’t know Matt at all. Hopefully, there isn’t anything going on with Nebraska recruiting hosts.
