We're still winding down after the double win, and I commented how cool it would be to go to the Sweet 16 games...

Shout out to @ImJustKCClone and Lew, @Ms3r4ISU, great to see you all at the game. Even though I didn't get there till half because I was watching the men finish up .
What a amazing day!! These days are why I love the Clones thru thick and thin . Stopped in Story City for caffeine the KwikStar was full of happy Cyclones. I was a little worried when I saw my day stacking up at work but it went well and still met my friends for supper and to watch the men play.

Took the kids for a six mile ride yesterday afternoon. My behind is feeling it today.
I took my daughter on a long bike ride yesterday. I'm feeling it today as well. I had to take advantage of the nice weather.
We ended up at a pond that was next to the trail and there were a few people fishing. One father was helping his daughter learn how to cast. There was also a grandfather fishing with his grandson on the dock.
We rode down to a park along the trail and after playing for a bit continued down the trail. It follows Indian Creek through Marion. Ended up seeing a herd of deer in a flood plain grassy area it goes through. Looking forward to that trail connecting with one in Cedar Rapids along with the extension of it north along the creek past Linn-Mar. They are also finishing the redo of the last rail bridge that another trail uses (and connects with this trail). So by this time next year a significant portion of the metro will be connected via trails. The west side is where it is lacking and there are plans in some areas to improve that.
Police sitting in front of my driveway. Some truck is just sitting in the road. It was there when I looked at 6am. Not sure why the silver car is there
Go out and ask them what is going on. If they yell at you, then you know it's either getting crazy or they are arresting you.

I had to wave down the police yesterday for some kid that somehow broke his cast aluminum rim hitting the median.
Did the kid have a backpack that was full and thank you by giving you a rolex watch?
Well, I did drink more Guinness Saturday night at the last place buddy Holly played then I had drank of any beer all year. So it is time to finish the St. Patrick stuff. What else is coming up? Maybe go back to my old Avatar, until the wife makes me dress up in some other dorky suit or outfit.
