My guess is the truck was stolen and just left here. Two people got out of the silver car and are going through the truck right now checking his tool boxes in the back.
The house across the street has a Ring doorbell and another house has what appears to be a camera that would be looking directly at it.

20 years ago, our 6'4" German exchange student wore a pink Energizer Bunny costume and performed as a "filler" between the different acts in the church talent show. He got more laughs than some of the acts.
