Guys, Miami is on the scene just in case you didn’t know. It’s my town and it created the base sound. Even been known to kick and shake actual holes in the ground.

Just hope the coaching staff is aware of this.

As good as Miami is offensively, they are not going to have any mismatches. I'm guessing Miami has not faced a team with three elite perimeter defenders. If Jaz, Conditt, Rob and Enaruna can hold their own against the others, ISU will be in great shape. Granted, I don't think ISU has probably seen a scorer with the explosiveness that Wong has either. We could see different guys taking possessions against him. He's going to present a major challenge. If Gabe, IB and Hunter stay out of foul trouble and can all play 35 plus, I like our chances. If any has to sit for big stretches, particularly IB, we could be in for a long night.
I take issue with the bolded. Iowa State has seen and beat 2 first team AA's this year (Murray and Davis) and played against a 3rd (Agbaji). Wong can't be any more explosive than those 3 guys.

I'd never even heard of wong until I knew we were playing Miami.

I'm gonna predict a big night from George Conditt and Tristan E tonight. George is playing in his home city and I don't think Miami has a ton that can guard Smoove. If the big men get to work, i'd love it!

Anyone else debating how much they are willing to lose on a Miami ML bet for a trip to the Elite 8?
You're like me!! I do this for big ISU games from time-to-time. Haha. I think it helps me feel better either way. If ISU wins, I lose money and am ecstatic and will be feeling great with the most unexpected of Elite Eight trips ever. If ISU loses, it's not fun, but at least I won some money.

Watching some game film, it's interesting - Wong seems to be a "loud" scorer, while McGusty is a "quiet" scorer. As in, you remember several buckets from Wong, but look at the box score and he has 12 and McGusty has 20.

TE will have a mismatch anytime he's on the floor, either a 6'6" guard (Lewis) if he's playing with a big or a 6'10" stretch 5 if he's playing the post. But I'm not sure he's going to get a ton of run, this feels like a game we go with 4 guards and Kunc for long stretches.
