One thing to learn about sports reporters: if they grow a spine and deviate from the herd, they quickly learn that life can get pretty lonely. They would rather be liked than right. As a non-fan/just a casual observer, I'm super pumped to see how this game plays out. It will certainly be interesting to see the two styles of play collide. I hope ISU can pull this out, what a story it would be and it's another reason for Hawk fans to cry more.

I'm not sure I've ever had anyone look at me the way Seth Davis glowingly looked as he picked Iowa to the Final Four.
These folks go with the hot picks that fit the TV sets by conference affiliation without watching how they play.
THIS! It's not just that this one is winnable, so is the next one and the next one! I haven't been this nervous since Niangs senior year.
I was less nervous for wisconsin because i honestly thought our run would end and the rd of 32 was a huge success.
i'd probably feel that way if this were auburn we are playing.
I am thinking more in terms a guy that can put it on put it on the deck and blow past you. Murray, Davis and Agbaji are better players than Wong, but they play differently.
I think Gabe and IB are better equipped to deal with guys like Murray and Davis where they have a length disadvantage, but can get up into them. Wong is a different type of player, and IB and Gabe will be at a quickness disadvantage. Hopefully the game is not called tightly, and they can be physical with him and frustrate him.
Yeah, definitely different players. Gabe has to stay out of foul trouble. But with Wong you also don't have to worry too much about his shooting.

I wouldn't be surprised if they put Hunter on Wong. McGusty is their leading scorer so I would guess he's getting Gabe.
