AJ Green will shoot 75% from three next year so it doesn’t really matter.
No offense, but him coming here is sarcasm now or board teasing or what? Unless we hear something concrete, these Green rumor posts are reaching annoying. Sorry to you in advance....maybe its just me getting tired of them.

If Williams is the only recruit we bring in this spring, then its a bit of a head scratcher. But I fully expect we will sign at least 3-4 kids this spring.

Going after Williams makes a lot of sense if TJ knows Brockington is coming back or Brockington's replacement and a post scorer are still part of the plan. I am sure we will have clarity once we hear about Brockington, Kalscheur, Kunc & Conditt's status. Along with any underclassmen transfers.

Williams would improve our top 8/9 even if we returned just about everyone.

I just checked and he shot 23% from 3 on 2.4 attempts per game. So not really haha.

A career 63.7% free-throw shooter. He’s got some length, but nothing else really jumps off the page (having watched 0 minutes of him actually playing).

Condon and Miller pretty much said it’s a done deal. I guess we will see how good their source is.

This guy will be the backup or the 3rd PG imo.

A lot depends on the roster. I could see Williams starting at CG with the following lineup:

Hunter
Brockington or Portal
Williams
Tre King
Portal Post

He might not be the greatest shooter, but with Hunter, Brockinton & King- we are probably looking for the CG and portal post to be around 10ppg scorers. Williams has done that in each of his 2 seasons at Temple. Plus, he's a do everything player: rebounds, assists.

Potential replacement for Jackson or Walker as backcourt rotation depth? Otherwise I'm not quite sure what the appeal is.
Would having two pgs play at the same time be better on offense than what we had this year? Jackson and Hunter's size makes that tough on defense. But hmm, you'd hope they could shoot some.
