Fun interview. A little surprised he isn't crazy about American food; I've heard Brits say how much better the food is in America, but I guess it just depends on what part of Europe you're in.

Fun interview. A little surprised he isn't crazy about American food; I've heard Brits say how much better the food is in America, but I guess it just depends on what part of Europe you're in.

In fairness, a LOT of American food is garbage. Too much salt and sugar. Especially the kinds of meals a college kid would be getting (outside of training table anyway). I doubt he is cooking up Julia Child stuff in his apartment.

Also, Slovenia is also NOT the UK in terms of food. I would imagine it's a mix of Slavic (think Czech/Polish for us Iowans) and some Italian influence.

I don't think it's fair to consider the UK as "Europe." I mean, it is geographically, but not culturally.

Really, saying that the UK isn't part of Europe is probably the only thing Europeans and Brits would agree on. :jimlad:
