I had never heard of this, and frankly I am pi**ed that it hasn't been promoted by the Gridiron Club at a minimum. Who is leading that organization? Thinking new leadership needs to be put in charge.

Update. I just set this up at Amazon.com on my browser and within the App on my phone (yes you have to do it on both), and it took 30 seconds. Get out there an do it everyone. It is painless and costs you nothing. Plus it tallies your total amount given to the club with each purchase and overall.
Someone needs to do deep analytics on high school recruits, their first year output, their second year output, and compare them to Jr/Sr transfers. Maybe someone on staff already is.
It seems like top 100 recruits are worth the risk signing knowing they could be one and done college pros (or obviously the old fashioned NBA one and done)…but above that getting transfers who are already 20 or 21 year old men might be much better. Especially if we are a defensive bulldog team, the older and stronger the better. Most 6 foot 18 year old point guards are not as physically strong as Hunter.
For all his ups and down comparing Gabe on defense to about any typical freshman guard is night and day. And he’s not a guy who was getting signed to some 500k one year contract.
I’d say leverage any NIL money we have in transfer market vs 18 year olds. The exception might be somebody like Allen Lazard or the Murray twins where they are lifelong family fans and their dad is posting on message boards as a huge fan. I mean if there’s real lifelong loyalty it might make more sense to pay a freshman, especially one as talented as Lazard In a basketball equivalent.

As a former board member of the CGC I can assure you that your interpretation is incorrect (no disrespect to you as I've heard others repeat the same over the years since its inception). The CGC has done & will continue to financially support great things for the Football team.
I've said it in the past, but they make it way to hard to donate. It's like it was set up to accommodate a donation style that Iowa State has no chance of competing in. Find what makes us unique and exploit that. Look at basketball; on the top ten list for most amount of ranked wins in the last decade? We need to capitalize on those wins when emotions are high. Make it as easy as possible for fans to throw ISU a $25, $50, $100 donation while they are riding high and maybe a little buzzed.

Maybe there is an easy way that I'm missing, but if I can't find it, how many others can't find it. (And so I don't look like a complete ass, I earmarked the amount I was going to give and added that to my next years donation, but stuff happens, some people forget to do that, or spend it on something else. Take peoples money when they are willing to give it. Don't hope they have the same generosity when their annual renewal comes up.)

Edit: I recommend to CW that he start a sticky thread under ISU football, BB, and ISU in general, on various ways to support ISU financially. Make it very easy for the average fan. Start one on how to use/start AmazonSmile account and a selected charity (ISU). @ChrisMWilliams
