Any WR they would have taken would have been a stretch. The value just wasn't there, But, they need to do something on offense. That receiving corps is pretty thin

I don’t disagree. He is probably going to be more upset they didn’t trade up.

By who? Squawks? I rarely hear anything about it outside of this forum. Very few pay that much attention to those details outside their own direct school they follow. Unless you are dealing with TOE fans that can't get us out of their heads.

I think what’s more important is we’ve had a good stretch of guys have real impact the last few years. Lazard made himself into a god damn starter. Montgomery is a starter. Kene is going to return kicks forever.

Exactly, I dont care what round someone goes in. Sure a first rounder is nice. But its what they do when they get there is what matters. I think we all know there are a lot of lower round players that turn in to some fantastic players.

Wasn't it something like Campbell netted ISU's first ever top 30 rated class this last year? A team like that just isn't going to have a whole lot of draft picks - much less first round picks - if the talent just isn't there.

Why stop with linemen?

Also, the entire Big 12 is going without a first round pick this year.
The Big Game Boomer account tried to tweet out that it was the rest of the big 12s fault that Texas and OU didn’t have a first round pick. He deleted it about 2 minutes after he hit send

Round matters a ton. The guaranteed money first rounders get and the initial length of contract makes a huge difference. UNI had a freaking first rounder. Stop gaslighting the issue.

Probably right after he saw the guy from Chattanooga get picked.

Disappointed Breece didn't get drafted tonight, but that was a pretty wild first round.

Of course it matters for the players. I feel bad for breece.

Not sure why we should give a **** as fans. It is what it is and it’s more fluky than anything.
