Oregon and Washington are the top two brands. But don’t think either of those schools will be available. If they are you take them. Really like all 6 though. Hope we get Colo, Utah, ari, asu.

The question becomes if they think they can salvage something with the remaining +additions

If not, seems like you could get acceptance from those other 4 almost immediately as its clear they wouldnt have BIG offers, and then leave the door open for Oregon\Washington while they attempt to get in the big 10. .

I don't understand a conferences desire to go to more than 16 teams. More than 16 teams becomes an alliance, not a conference.

However, by adding USC and UCLA, they almost have to grow to add teams for them to play on the west coast.

My biggest concern with the BIG is they would go after Washington, Oregon, Colorado and Kansas to get to 20.

Create a 22 team league. Play an 11 game conference scheduled flipping teams every other year. Play game one against a cupcake. Would make for a fun season.

This would be a blast. By far and away the best basketball conference. 10 game football schedule where you play 1/2 one year 1/2 the following year. No divisions. Guarantee 1 game a year in Florida, AZ, and Texas for recruiting.

My opinion is you take every team from the P12 that will come. All are Power 5 teams and will have value for contract negotiations. If there are 20 teams or more, do it.

Haven’t seen this posted, but the absolute best scenario includes the Big 12 getting the Arizona schools, Oregon, and Washington…and that being enough to entice OU and Texas to come back/stay. I loathe Texas…but that’s truly the best of all possible scenarios…

ISU, KU, KSU, CU

ISU and KSU carry the football load with CU being ok every couple of years. Basketball you have 3 fanbases that care and beautiful Colorado

BYU, UT, AZ and ASU (most eyeballs pod)

Having the Holy War would be great for the conference. ASU cares about football. AZ adds a dominant MBB program

OSU, TT, TCU, and BU (Best pod)

Really good football pod. Really strong MBB pod.

UH, Cincy, WV, and UCF (weakest pod)

Cincy dominates but UH and UCF have REALLY high potential. Weak in MBB

To me, if you're going beyond 12 might as well go to 20 for football purposes. Playing 9/11 opponents works but 9/13 or 9/15 start to create badly lopsided schedules. By going to 20 teams, you just don't play anyone in the other division in the regular season. Then maybe you do a full cross division lineup of games during championship week instead of just the CCG. But yes, that becomes an alliance of two divisions.

UH is pretty good in basketball. Final Four last year. Elite Eight this season. And Cinci and WV have had solid BB programs, with great traditions.
