High as in has taken a more prominent position? Or because Denver is the Mile High City? Or because he's imbibed a ton of hippie lettuce?

Or are all those questions not mutually exclusive?

Let’s just say he washes his bong more than his dishes.

The Pac 10 going unequal revenue sharing and adding G5's we rejected is second best to killing them off this offseason.

They'll be back, next time even more of a disaster, and we would have to overpay to get the couple schools of value.

It shows how awful the PAC leadership has been, and still is. This is how they ended up bankrolling Larry Scott's penthouse of waste in SF while the conference decayed for a decade. Now that USC is gone to keep everyone at least trying to keep the fools in line, it is going to be a death spiral
Sort of poetic

Low attendance was due to the stadium not being on campus and you had to commute to the old Charger stadium. On campus stadium will make a difference.

Old Charger stadium as in Jack Murphy/Qualcomm, or as in their interim spot in Carson?

Because SDSU's new stadium is only a couple hundred yards from where Qualcomm used to be.

Sure, but how is that remotely relevant?

The UC Davis Aggies currently play at the FCS level. Obviously they’re also not ready to step up to P5 football. However, led by *that* Dan Hawkins they’re definitely more than ready for PAC-12 football!

Now, the other UC schools will probably take a year or two to bootstrap new football programs, but there is no reason to believe they wouldn’t be competitive by year 2 or 3.

Take the existing 10 teams and add:

UC Davies Aggies
UC Santa Barbara Gauchos
UC Irvine Anteaters
UC Santa Cruz Banana Slugs
UC Merced Golden Bobcats
UC Riverside Highlanders
UC San Diego Tritons

Anybody who doesn’t instantly recognize this to be the most compelling option for the PAC-12 clearly doesn’t grasp just how screwed they are moving forward.
I thought Iowa Central was the only school with Tritons as a mascot. What makes a coastal city think they should have a sea warrior mascot. That mascot clearly belongs in the middle of corn fields.

Well, California finally realized the error of its ways and ceded the Cyclones to its sole, rightful owner.

Mills College in Oakland is now the Mills Institute of Northeastern and will no longer field sports teams.

Does every other school hate them or just us? I feel like is just an Iowa State thing to hate Baylor as much as we do.
Yeah, I don't get the hate for Baylor. I think the hate started or ramped up after the David Montgomery fight with the Baylor player. Just one guy too.

Not 100% sure but Baylor and ISU were the only ones in the conference to state that they weren't waving their right to sue A&M when they left the conference. Texas and OU were waiving their rights and Tech and Ok St clammed up. Basically, it was Baylor and ISU at the forefront to fight legally for the Big 12.

Uh, there was a rampant culture of sexual assault that got uncovered at Baylor and the only thing that happened was the coach got fired.

For that 2018 game, there were multiple incidents of them going after DM and don't forget the guy holding down Butler, etc.

It appeared planned/purposeful and their doosh coach didn't call them off.

Aranda seems like a good dude so there's that but he'll need to be there a while to rid them of the stench.

To add to your first point, the school covered it all up because the team had become successful under Briles and the donors and administrators didn't want to give up that success. Thus, they covered it up sexual assault being committed by the football players. The fact that the consequences were hardly anything given how many people knew about it and did nothing is why the hate exists.
